Have you ever had a morning where you wish you could just go back to sleep and wake up again? That's today for me. I woke up at 6:30 this morning and, upon seeing how early it was, decided to go back to sleep for another hr. I woke up again at 8:45. I have to be at work at 9:00. Enough said.
I get into my car just a couple of min shy of 9 AM and begrudgingly remember that I was too lazy the night before to stop and put gas and the light was about to go on. I had to stop, so I did. Then $30 bucks later, I was back on the road and my boss called me back. I told her that I was late and she said it was fine. So on the Palmetto to work I didn't speed like I normally do when I'm late. I get off on the regular exit (I was having a hard time deciding which exit I should take) and when I get off and turn onto a residential street that leads to my job I got pulled over! For the first time in my 4 yrs of driving I got pulled over. FOR SPEEDING!!!! I was going at 46 in a 35 mile zone. The cop didn't even get a chance at a pity plea...nothing. He just went to his cruiser and printed me a shiny $194 ticket. Needless to say that I cried on the rest of my paranoid trip to work. I now have butterflies in my stomach and I don't know if it's because I have a feeling that this day is going to continue down this path, or if it's because I'm still stuck in Bella's head. (Last night's reading hit me hard!)
