Things that annoy me in the morning!
Ok. I've had one of THE MOST annoying mornings today, and not because it's been particularly full of obstacles or anything, but because the normal, irritating things were STILL THERE! I know that I'm being a baby, but if I don't vent, then I'm going to get annoyed at something not appropriate (like # 3) and then I'm going to blow up at a really bad time...like when my boss asks me a question or something. LOL!
- One bathroom, one sink, one mirror. I had to list them all separately because some bathrooms have two sinks and one long mirror, or a multitude of other variations of bathroom arrangements, but my bathroom only has one stinkin' mirror and one stinking sink! LOL! I hate not being able to use it when someone else is there. And with four adults to one bathroom, chances are, there's someone using it!
- Waking up late. I know this is totally my fault, but I can't help it! I have apparently (and very stupidly) conditioned myself to be oblivious to the sounds of my alarm clock! We even tried buying one that vibrates and talks in different voices (including an old fashioned gangster threatening to shoot you) and I do not hear them. Not the running water...not the annoying beep beep beep. None of it. I've even gotten to the point that people try and wake me up, actual LIVE people, and I simply ignore it. At the very least my body actually gets up at around 8. But that only gives me a half an hour to get ready in the morning. So I take 45 min and then I'm rushing to work which leads me to...
- School zones. Of all of the asinine speeds to set for these sections, but 15??? Really? What are we really teaching children here? That it's ok to jump out into the middle of the street because the cars are moving so slow they'll be able to stop in time before they do too much damage? LOL! Ok. I'm in no way condoning speeding through a school zone, but it's annoying when you have to stay at 15 mph and you want to be going at 75! LOL!
- I am a total breakfast girl. I prefer breakfast to any meal of the day. There's a little "farm store" wannabe cuban place in the shopping center of my job with the best cafe con leche in the world and I like to have that for my breakfast. I've only recently discovered this so I'm not tired of it yet! I don't get to do this everyday, but on days like today that I'm starving, it annoys me that I didn't get to. The place was empty, and I couldn't stop, because it was 9 already and my boss was here. Grr. I need my coffee!
Anyway! So that's it. I've vented and I actually do feel better. I was feeling better two seconds ago, but a lady just called with a problem. But that's a different kind of bad, so I'm good. LOL!

Don't shoot me but...
This is the headline I got in to today and my reaction was "Wait, what? Really? Give me a break!"
"Gay leaders furious with Obama"
And that's all because they're pissed that the gay marriage law was banned in California and now they're pissed that the inaugural speech is going to be delivered by an evangelical minister. I say, suck it! It doesn't matter who delivers the speech, the ban is still in place, and being pissed over who is giving the speech doesn't change that! Pointless, misdirected anger!

Nyquil and Tylenol PM do NOT mix!!!
I know that you're all probably like "duh!!!" but seriously, I didn't really think it would be bad, at least not for me. I have never been one to become drowsy from medication, not even Benadryl, so when I bought Nyquil (pills) and Tylenol PM I didn't think it would be bad! And no, I didn't read the labels! I just know that when I get a sore throat it is really hard for me to fall asleep and I wanted to get a good night's rest in. So on Friday I took 2 of each and I went to bed. I ended up waking up like at 12 pm the next day and I was completely slow! LOL! I remember waking up a little earlier than that and thinking about how swollen my face felt (although it wasn't actually swollen), like when the dentists injects you with anesthesia! And it was really hard to move, like if my brain was sending signals to my arms and stuff to move, but they couldn't or wouldn't! And I spent the rest of the day in bed letting the pills wear off. Then on Saturday I decided to just take the 2 Nyquil pills alone and I woke up at 3 pm on Sunday. Then last night I was too afraid to take any of them because I didn't want to not show up for work today so I tried falling asleep without anything and couldn't. So I took 1 Nyquil pill and that did the trick! I woke up at 7: 30 this morning and made it to work on time! YAY! LOL! So anyway, boys and girls, do not mix Nyquil and Tylenol PM!!!! Not a good idea! :)

The Gift Revolution
Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I've blogged, just been super busy at work, but I just had to blog about this right now.
Sometimes, the wierdest things happen to me, and this one is one of them!
Where I work there are two places for breakfast. One is for cuban food and one is for american food. Today, we (the ppl in my office and myself) felt like cuban breakfast. I called in the order and went to pick it up. The cuban place is set up like a farm store, you know, where you drive up on both sides. Since I work in this shopping center, I walked there. There was a girl waiting in line too and we started talking about how wierd it was that we're on foot and the others are in cars. So whatever, she picks up her food first and leaves. Then I get up to the door and the lady (who is the sweetest person you've ever met) comes up to me and gives me my food and is like "the girl already paid for it". Ok. I was just like..."um...ok, thanks!?" I couldn't catch up with the girl to thank me, and I was a little scared to because the lady told me that she had put something in the bag for me. So, whatever, I get to my office and I open it and find a few of the cards for this thing called The Gift Revolution. So, in summary, this was all a part of a chain of gift givers trying to change the world! How cool is that? I mean...seriously....I feel like I should go somewhere and give the money that I was going to spend to someone that needs it!
Now I just don't know if I'm supposed to find this girl and thank her, or just leave it at paying it forward!

The Twilight Saga
I finished! 9 days! I am so relieved to be done with it, and yet, I already miss the story! I loved it! My favorite book is still New Moon, which is making me really excited for the movie. If I had to put them in order of favorites it would be 2,1,4,3. I don't want to write too much because Janet still hasn't finished reading 3 or 4, but I'll post more about it later!

About Me
- Joey
- I'm a Christian, vegetarian/vegan 22 yr old girl. I love God and feel very blessed! I am very smart and love learning, even though I don't really like being IN class. I wish I could take all of my classes online and not work, but the reality is, I HAVE to work. But I love my job. I feel important there because I help keep things organized for my boss. I went back to the first church I ever felt at home. The transition has been hard, but I love the people there. I just got the car of my dreams! I can't think of anything else to put here!
