Soooo tired of Obama
So, I did not vote for Obama. I do not think that I would ever vote for him! He stands for too many things that I am 100% against, and I can't overlook those things because of the pretty word "change" he threw around so much during his campaign. After he won the presidency, I decided that I was going to stop watching the news and reading articles until the next presidential election rolled around. That might be a little drastic, but honestly, I don't care. I think it's sad that we've gotten to the point where we have a "celebrity president" and designers are dying to dress his wife and his face appears on a load of bumper stickers. I even saw someone driving down the street the other day with his face on the front of their car (one of those decorative tags at the front). I get that people got excited with this election, heck, I was one of them. But does anyone remember anything like that happening before? A face, an image, and a notion won the presidency! But enough about this...I feel like I'm rambling!
Since I decided not to hear anything else I've been turning a deaf ear to everything about it. But...I can't seem to escape it! I know that this is pretty pointless, but I just wanted to vent! I'm annoyed! LOL!
About Me
- Joey
- I'm a Christian, vegetarian/vegan 22 yr old girl. I love God and feel very blessed! I am very smart and love learning, even though I don't really like being IN class. I wish I could take all of my classes online and not work, but the reality is, I HAVE to work. But I love my job. I feel important there because I help keep things organized for my boss. I went back to the first church I ever felt at home. The transition has been hard, but I love the people there. I just got the car of my dreams! I can't think of anything else to put here!

good for you. thank you for posting this.
seriously, you don't know how refreshing it is to actually read that someone didn't vote for obama since everyone and their mother voted for him.
i'm just a little ashamed to say it. or embarrassed. i
don't know.. i shouldn't be and just hold to my beliefs, i guess i don't want to offend anyone.
i'm sick and tired of it too though. i mean, seriously the guy has no experience! and everyone just jumped on the bandwagon for all the 'hope' nonsense and liberal propaganda. under the stance of if life begins at conception, he says "undecided" how can that be undecided?! it's a simple yes or no! oh well, everyone will see when he actually becomes president that it was a mistake voting for him. i got super into the election, just not for him.
higher taxes here we come!
ps: nice blog! you seem sweet, and we have a lot in common as far as being bored at our jobs and not voting for obama, which are good similarities ;) thanks for reading my rant, lol
LOL! Yea, I know! It's a real shame! It got kinda loud at my job because 3 of us were voting for McCain and 2 were voting for Obama and 1 was not voting at all! LOL! One of the things that bothers me the most is that some of the people voting for him don't even know what he stands for. Like the abortion (born alive) thing. I told someone about that and they said that they don't believe it if the media is saying it, but that if they read an official document about it, it would change their vote. Sad really because no one, even if you tell them things like that, did any research. I hope that he proves me wrong, and that things do get better, but I'm not holding my breath!
Thanks! You seem really nice too! I'm going to go check out your blog now! :)
